GUIDED TOUR OF THE ROYAL CASTLE OF AMBOISE
In the heart of the town, this veritable fortress overlooking the Loire was built in the 15th and 16th centuries on the orders of Charles VIII, Louis XII and François I. It houses a superb collection of furniture, panoramic gardens, a watchtower and a chapel where Leonardo da Vinci is buried.
