At the end of the year, the château takes on the air of a bygone era. Life in a 19th-century château, just as the Princes of Broglie once lived it. Sumptuous festive decorations are laid out in every room, designed to take even the most distinguished guests’ breath away.

GUIDED TOUR OF CHAUMONT-SUR-LOIRE CASTLE
Go behind the scenes to see the preparations for Christmas Eve. Set off on a unique tour to discover the castle’s most unusual rooms, now adorned with festive lights. From the castle’s festive decorations to the stables…

TOUR OF THE CONFECTIONERY MUSEUM IN AMBOISE
Nougat, calissons, pralines, berlingots, toffees, sugared almonds, pastilles… a true sugar wizard, Nicolas Viollet has created a kingdom of sweet treats on the banks of the Loire. It’s even a family tradition, as his father and grandfather were already in the trade. The icing on the cake is that the making of the sweets is followed by a tasting of the treats whilst they’re still warm.
