Maison Bigot is a Pâtisserie, Chocolaterie & Salon de Thé in Amboise.
1913: René BIGOT, my grandfather, opens a bakery opposite the Château d'Amboise. For 50 years, in the bakery, he baked delicious bread and Julia kept the accounts with ticks.
1963: Their daughter, Renée (my mother), takes over the bakery and courageously continues her parents' work.
1973: The bakery is transformed into a cosy tearoom, and the house takes on a new dimension to welcome regular customers and the ever-growing number of tourists.
2018: the family adventure continues with Paola, who will continue to write the gourmet tome of the 4th generation.
Open every day from Easter to All Saints' Day. Closed Mondays out of season.
