Maison Bigot is a Pâtisserie, Chocolaterie & Salon de Thé in Amboise. 1913: René BIGOT, my grandfather, opens a bakery opposite the Château d'Amboise. For 50 years, in the bakery, he baked delicious bread and Julia kept the accounts with ticks. 1963: Their daughter, Renée (my mother), takes over the bakery and courageously continues her parents' work. 1973: The bakery is transformed into a cosy tearoom, and the house takes on a new dimension to welcome regular customers and the ever-growing number of tourists. 2018: the family adventure continues with Paola, who will continue to write the gourmet tome of the 4th generation.
