Day 1
- Self-guided tour of the Château de Chaumont-sur-Loire. Set in the heart of a landscaped park, the Château de Chaumont overlooks the Loire from a height of around forty metres. It was once owned by Catherine de’ Medici in 1552 and by her rival, Diane de Poitiers.
- Self-guided tour of the International Garden Festival at the Chaumont-sur-Loire estate. Each year, around twenty teams of landscape architects from around the world present their interpretation of the theme chosen by the estate.
- Visit to a vineyard and wine tasting

- Self-guided tour of the Château de Chambord. Set in the heart of a forest teeming with game,the château offers you a moment of relaxation and an exceptional experience.
- A gourmet speciality to collect from the main square in the village of Chambord
- Visit to the Atelier du Chocolat Max Vauché in Bracieux. Max Vauché, master chocolatier, shares his love of cocoa with you through a visitor centre where you can watch the process from the processing of the cocoa bean right through to the making of the chocolates.
