SELF-GUIDED TOUR OF CHAUMONT-SUR-LOIRE CASTLE
Set amidst landscaped grounds, the château overlooks the Loire from a height of around 40 metres.
It was once owned by Catherine de’ Medici in 1552 and by her rival, Diane de Poitiers. In 1875, the Princes of Broglie acquired it and transformed it into a truly princely residence.

Every year, around twenty teams of landscape designers from across the world present their interpretation of the theme chosen by the estate. Their creations are often original and unexpected, incorporating flowers, materials, water, trees and foliage.

TOUR & TASTING AT THE DOMAINE DE RABELAIS IN ONZAIN
The Chollet estate produces Touraine-Mesland AOC wine, which has held AOC status since 1955.
Winegrowers from father to son since 1720, they own a vineyard situated on the southern slopes of the Loire, opposite the Château de Chaumont-sur-Loire.
