SELF-GUIDED TOUR OF THE MAISON DE LA MAGIE
Situated opposite Blois Castle, in a grand town house, the Maison de la Magie is a temple to modern magic. The exhibition spaces trace the astonishing life of Jean-Eugène Robert-Houdin and the entire history of magic across the globe. Rooms dedicated to optical illusions and magic tricks promise moments of hearty laughter. This will be followed by a magic show in the theatre, with a new theme each year.

HORSE-DRAWN CARRIAGE RIDE IN BLOIS
From the Place du Château, you’ll set off by horse-drawn carriage towards St Nicholas’ Church, with the banks of the Loire offering a stunning view of the town and the Jacques Gabriel Bridge.
You’ll continue on to Saint-Saturnin Church before returning via Rue Denis Papin and the magnificent Augustin Thierry Garden near the royal castle.
