SELF-GUIDED TOUR OF CHENONCEAU CASTLE
Since the 16th century, the château’s silhouette has been majestically reflected in the waters of the Cher. A paragon of Renaissance beauty, enhanced by its French formal gardens, this charming château owes everything to women! Built by Katherine Briçonnet, embellished by Diane de Poitiers and Catherine de’ Medici, and saved from the Revolution by Madame Dupin… it deserves the name history has given it: the ‘Château des Dames’.
“CHRISTMAS AND TRADITIONS AROUND THE WORLD”
This year, Chenonceau pays tribute to the spirit and traditions of Christmas. Those of our childhood, those we dream of… The Grand Gallery is transformed into a Viennese ballroom, whilst the incredible kitchens are divided between India, with its colours and fragrant spices, and Provence with its thirteen desserts… A world that is different every year, always featuring signature creations made from plants.
