EQUESTRIAN SHOW AT THE DOMAINE DE CHAMBORD

Stunts and projections on a giant screen will immerse visitors in a daring, immersive show with a touch of humour that will delight all generations. This new show takes visitors on a grand historical journey through 500 years of Chambord’s history, from François I to the present day.
Directed by Mario Luraschi, an expert in equestrian stunts for the cinema. Duration: 45 minutes.

SELF-GUIDED TOUR OF CHÂTEAU DE CHAMBORD

It is one of the must-see monuments in the Loire Valley. The recent restoration of rooms such as the apartments of François I helps to shed light on daily life at the court of Chambord. The French-style gardens have recently been landscaped.

SELF-GUIDED TOUR OF BEAUVAL ZOOPARK IN ST AIGNAN-SUR-CHER

It is ranked amongst the four most beautiful zoos in the world, with 35,000 animals – the largest collection in France. You can observe iconic species such as pandas and white tigers from a cable car gliding over the park. The dome is now one of the park’s must-see attractions. This new giant conservatory is home to exotic species, including free-roaming birds and aquatic areas, set amongst lush greenery.

The latest addition: Les Terres Rouges, an immersive experience of the Australian outback.

In the afternoon, two shows are staged every day

‘The Odyssey of the Sea Lions’ in an amphitheatre with a pool for the sea lions, and ‘Masters of the Skies’ in a semi-circular arena with an open-air theatre for the birds.
