Hugo Marchand, a French dancer and principal dancer with the Paris Opera Ballet, founded the Hugo Marchand pour la Danse association in 2022 with the aim of bringing exceptional performances within everyone’s reach. In 2023, the association launched Les Étoiles au Château, whose mission is to contribute to the diversity of local cultural life across the country and to showcase our regions’ historic monuments by bringing them together with renowned dancers and musicians. Following the success of the first two editions and as part of Chambord’s musical season, the French gardens will once again host two performances on 14 and 15 July. A poetic moment in which the château’s French gardens will be enhanced by the grace of six Étoiles dancers and a Première danseuse from the Paris Opera Ballet. They will be accompanied in certain scenes by the music of Julie Sevilla-Fraysse, a cello virtuoso, and Elena Bonnay, a pianist with the Paris Opera.
